Baked Cabbage

I adore cabbage! I always have. 

I remember my mom would make it for the two of us on a hot summer day and we would sit on the patio and split it! Yum!

I have never tried baking cabbage...so when I saw this recipe on Pinterest, I thought it looked delicious!


Roasted cabbage. INSANELY delicious, easy, inexpensive healthy. (1 t. olive oil, 2 T. bacon bits, 2 T lemon juice, 1 T. worcestershire, 1/4 t. salt, 1/4 t. pepper, 1 Cabbage, quartered, individually wrapped. Bake at 425 degrees for 20-30 minutes) @fabulousfoodblog.com


I cut the cabbage into 3 wedges


Then I just mixed all the above in a bowl.
I followed her recipe to a "T", but next time I would use crispy real bacon and no salt...I think. 


or maybe I caked on too much toppings?? 

The recipe doesn't really say...but it was a bit too salty for me. 


OOPS~ I had a little accident...reaching for the bacon bits I knocked the tabasco sauce and SPLAT!

All over the place!! So don't do this step! lol =)



Here is the final step...EAT it! 

It has really good flavor and changed up my typical cabbage! 

I will defiantly make it again...just leave out the salt and add if needed while eating. =)
