Day 29: My Hands…. and Legos!

First things first!  Here are my oh so lovely hands.
This was my idea for a pic that was a play on our Blog Name…. didn’t realize at the time that it would look like I had impaled my fingers with nails!!  Looks pretty gross…. I promise they are just taped to my fingers – no pain no blood.
Okay… moving on.
Legos!  My boys love their Legos.  I on the other hand do not!  I love that they play with them, build with them and are always using their imagination with them… but I don’t love cleaning them.  I really did not love cleaning them after my Nephews brought their Legos as a gift to my boys and tripled their Lego Supply.  I had to think quick on how to organize these babies!  They were all piled in to two buckets and three plastic drawers… so every time my kids wanted to play with them all containers ended up getting dumped….. aaaaarrrrrrggggghhhhhh.
The Hubby built this.

I found the containers to use to house the Lego’s and keep them sorted by color – like at the Lego Store!!
These are now available for sale on Etsy.
We will make them to order which will mean they are totally customizable – color, size, etc.  I am really excited to be selling these shelves and bins!
Of course, I was so happy with our new shelf that I could not stop there right?  I started realizing how many little Lego Men my Boys have as well.  Here is our new Home for all those little Men!
I will also be offering these For Sale on Etsy as I find more shelves!
Here is where our little Lego Corner of the Playroom started.

And here are my little Shelves before.
I painted and prepped them.

Then I mounted them to the wall with some anchors and screws.

And Voila!
This is an Antique Letterpress Drawer… what a find!  So Cool!
One more look at Lego Central!
A Clean Lego table.
Not so much anymore….
Don’t hesitate to contact me if you are interested in purchasing either the Lego Man Shelf or the Lego Shelf before I get it listed on Etsy and/or Ebay!
How do you coral your kids collections?
See You Soon….
