Taco Bake Recipe {Super Easy}

We have been trying new recipes and organizing the keepers! My kids have been such troopers about it too! I remember as a kid...I was always scared to try a new recipe.




So this is one of our keepers and thought I would share...it is a very easy dish and makes good left overs too!

TACO BAKE

1 pound ground beef or turkey (which we like better)
1 can (10 3/4 ounces) Campbell's Condensed Tomato Soup
1 cup Pace Thick & Chunky Salsa
1/2 cup milk
6 flour tortillas (8 inch) or 8 corn tortillas (6 inch), cut into 1-inch pieces
1 cup shredded Cheddar cheese (4 ounces)

In medium skillet over medium-high heat, cook beef until browned, stirring to separate meat. Pour off fat. 




Add soup, salsa, milk, tortillas (make layers) and half the cheese. Spoon into 2 quart shallow backing dish. Cover. 

Bake at 400 degrees for 30 minutes or until hot. Sprinkle with remaining cheese. 


We love to top ours off with sour cream!

I wasn't able to get a photo of the finished product...my family torn into it too fast!! They love it! My youngest son ask me if he could have it for breakfast too!! =)
